Great little RC toy for the price
By E. Freeman
I like this helicopter. It has unfeigned 3 axis proportional control. It’s durable: it has in all probability crashed 200 times in the ten hours I’ve flown it and it’s still in new condition. It may be flown indoors: in all those crashes I haven’t broken anything yet.
Information: it is very little and light; apparently it won’t tolerate a breeze outdoors. The controller takes 4 AA batteries. The controller plugs into the helicopter to charge it. You get with regards to 5 to 10 minutes of flying time for 10 to 20 minutes of charging time.
Downsides: it takes a while to learn to control it. After ten hours I am just now competent to fly with only a couple of crashes per flight.
Buyer advisory: only buy RC toys that have proportional control (small input/ little result, big input/ huge result). RC toys that aren’t proportional are no fun, even for kids, because you can’t develop skill.

Superior indoor mini helicopter
By William B. Miller
The Syma S013 Black Hawk RC Helicopter is by far the best helicopter I’ve owned and flown.
The aircraft body is a solid plastic with flexible rotor blades with remainder bar. The blades give the helicopter stable flight and lift. Flashing red and blue lights give the aircraft an in flight aspect of an emergency vehicle but do not appear to appreciably reduce the flight time.
My only critism is the landing gear which break off after a hard landing, mine have been substituted with salvaged runners off an older model.
Out of the box it is easy to fly with outstanding control. My original flight was in a little room with low ceilings and the helicopter went straight to the ceiling while spinning rapidly. Easing off on the control it dropped down and recovered to stabalize at five feet off the floor and I was competent to use the trim to fetch it to a stable hoover.
From this attitude it responded well to the controls and flew as commanded. Troubles came when I permitted it to get too near the walls but I was ordinarily capable to regain control without crashing, and yes I have crashed the Black Hawk a reasonable number of times which I attribute to pilot error. My wife didn’t be grateful for the overhead flights and hoovering but she did be grateful for the control that permitted me to keep it from hitting her, that would have been bad and I could have in truth reported on the durability of the aircraft body.
Recharging is fast and flight time is amidst four to six minutes. Unfortunately I have just regarding flown this craft to it is greatest or most complete or best possible life making the pups happy. The helicopter has been flown from room to room, flown in the dark (the pups actually didn’t like that), and landed on a indicated landing/take off website in front of my huge screen television. The landing website is a ledge when it comes to eight inches in front of the screen so there have been a number of bumps without harm to either the television or helicopter.
I suspect that the difficultnesses that I am experiencing at this time are due to the accumulation of fine hair in the roto shafts that I would remove if I could disassemble the aircraft body. Unfortunately atttempts to disassemble have been stimied because the top of the body appears to have been glued.
Because of the improvements in the Syma line I have buy an S100 and S018 but will wait till I visit my grandsons before I give those models a undertake but they have similar wings and bodies and I suppose success and fun when flying those models.

Mini Black Hawk Helo
By Jack Casey
I got this helo as a gift and loved it so much I’ve purchased a few more for friends. It takes a little fly time to get acquainted with it but it actually doesn’t take much to learn. It’s a total blast to use and all my friends want one. It’s a outstanding ‘boy toy’ for guys of all ages. I purchased 2 on Amazon for the price of one in the store. I’ve crashed this thing regarding 100 times at this point ad all the pieces are still on it. I love it as a neat novelty item.
