nice little boat…with super short battery life

I purchased this RC boat for my 3 sons to play with at the lake for Christmas. The boat arrived precisely as described, and after a 5 hour original battery charge, we headed down to the lake to try it out.

1st impressions in the water: Boat is very fast and effortlessly maneuverable. Even my 3 year old was capable to control the boat with a great deal of assistance. Note that this boat is of sparetime activity grade quality, and designed for a somewhat huge open body of water like a pond or lake. If you want something for the pool, head to Target or Walmart.

I would say we’re going to get alot of fun out of this boat, but as I would imagine is the case for all RC boats of this power, battery life is very, very short. We got in regards to 15 minutes of full power, then the motors started winding down rather quickly. Having said that, for the price I feel that this toy is a good value and the majority of kids would be very amazed at how fast it is.

Exceeded expectations

I was enjoyably astonished at the speed and ease of controlling this boat. It has a great turning radius and is fun for kids and adults.

Boat does not work, it is new out of the box.

We just opened up this box, chargered the battery and placed all new batteries into the remote. The boat does not turn on. We checked the batteries and all of the connections, everything is fine but it does not turn on. We may undertake another one but have to go through the whole returns procedure since they will not exchange.
