5it’s sweet!
By myskull
Okay let me just say this is an amazing indoor mini helicopter! I purchased a micro mosquito and it is crap when equated to the Ox-Wolf! The rotors are a nice high affect plastic and you don’t have to worry like you do with the super fragile aluminum rotors for the mosquito.
The Ox-Wolf likewise does a better occupation of hovering than the mosquito as well.
And if you fly too close to the ceiling, the rotors don’t suck you up and keep you stuck on the ceiling. Just decrease your rotor speed and you will come down gradually, and keep flying, not similar to the mosquito where you have to kill the rotor speed all out to come off the ceiling.

A outstanding feature is that it resembles the famous AirWolf helicopter: “Lady.”

For what you remunerate for one micro mosquito (not the rip offs,) you may buy 2 of these Ox-wolfs!

The only two down-side I will say regarding this terrifi little helicopter is that it does not have the flying time of the mosquito or even the Air Hogs Piccoo Z. (Flight time will last you around 6-7 mins with a decent charge time of around 10mins.)
And the blinking light on the nose that changes color is a bit annoying.
Other than those two minor flaws, you will have more fun flying this than the micro mosquito.

(I can’t believe I am the 1st to write a review of this amazing mini helicopter!)

5Lots of fun!
By Robert A. Gilliam
This little helicopter is a lot of fun! I’m rather happy with it. In the basi day, I learned to fly it well sufficient to land it on my kitchen counter, and even fly it to myself and catch it in my hand. My only experience with RC aircraft is flying an RC plane simulator on my PC. The helicopter keeps itself level automatically. You have to concentrate only on keeping it facing the way you want, and sustaining altitude. It’s challenging sufficient to fly to keep it interesting, but easy sufficient to receive pleasure from it on the introductory day. My only criticism is the manual. It provides little utile counsel and is an aweinspiring translation.

In contradiction to what the description says, it takes 24 minutes for the remote to charge the helicopter. This provides 7 minutes of flight time. It doesn’t seem to matter whether you use alkaline (1.5v) or rechargeable (1.2v) batteries in the remote.

I have a few pieces of counsel to aid you receive pleasure from it:

1. When you original commence learning to fly it, keep it within 2 feet of the floor. If it gets too near the walls or furniture, just cut the power and let it drop. It won’t be damaged by a 2 foot drop to a flat surface. If you’re giving it to a child, be sure to make them follow this rule at first, other than as supposed or expected it will end up broken by the end of the introductory day.

2. When you original fly it, get it a foot in the air and adjust the trim dial on the remote to stop it from rotating. The trim varies as the battery discharges, so suppose to have to hold in rotation corrections most of the time.

3. Outdoor flying is possible, but be conscious of two things. First, since it’s IR, in daylight you’ll need to learn to keep the remote pointed at the helicopter. Second, the slightest breath of wind will overwhelm it and make it move horizontally out of your control.

4. As somebody else wrote, attaching a little weight to the nose allows it to go quicker forward which is more fun. Even with this, it only goes one to two feet per second. It may genuinely go quicker straight up.

5. Sudden control movements may cause erratic behavior, but if you move the controls gradually, it’s rather consistent and controllable.

6. Changes in power to make it go up and down may affect it is rotation, and making it move forward and backward may affect it is altitude. But you may learn to expect these effects and remunerate before they even happen.

7. The transmitter has 3 channels, but the manual doesn’t explain how to alter them. You set the channel switch, then turn on the helicopter, then turn on the transmitter. The helicopter mechanically sets itself for whatsoever channel it receives. Flying three of these together would be wild!

2Poor client service
By G. Schroeder
On the second day I owned this heli, a little gold weight flew off the stabilizer bar. I wrote the company and (to their credit)received a quick response. I was hoping for something like “Sorry when it comes to that, we’ll send you a few of those no charge.” Instead I was sent a link to buy an entire new blade assemblage for $7.00. This I purchased and was amazed to see that there were no instructions provided on how to install it. Does this company think we were born knowing how this heli goes together?
Add to that, the 2 assemblies I purchased were indifferently tossed into a rather huge box with no packing material. The message was clear “We have your cash – that is what counts.”

I realize we are in a kind of Dark Age of client service, nevertheless this is an prospect for this company to stand above the rest.
