Nice toy for the price

Helicopters are a lot more perplexed than a basic airplane. Because of the complexity in a helicopter that has normal maneuverability, it would not be possible to build a toy helicopter anyplace near this cheaply without sacrificing something. This unit (and others in it is price range) have no capacity to tilt the flight rotor assembly.
What this means in plain English is that you may go up or down and rotate, but you can’t travel in any peculiar direction unless you use the stickers included to modify the center of gravity on the little chopper, which will make it always travel at the same speed, with you controlling (with a lot of practice) the direction of that travel. So, you can’t go from horizontal motion to stationary (hovering) or back unless you land the ‘copter and make an adjustment.
I had never flown a remote control helicopter before (let alone a real one) but I was competent to take off and hover on the introductory try. It’s that easy! It takes a little exercise to smooth out the flight (at original you tend to go up and down a lot before you may hold it at one level) so basically, after the initial charge (which took 20 minutes) I was having fun with it. The cats weren’t sure whether to be curious or frighted of it, the looks they gave it were hilarious.
As others have stated, this item is identical to the more costly ones such as the “Air Hogs” version. Get this one because it’s cheaper.

cant beat it to death

Its hard to control But helicopters are not that stable anyway. If you do not know what to suppose you will never figure it out. I was flying around my living room within the basi charge it wants to spun eratically but you may add more power & move the sticks to straighten it out. I believe there are a lot of models of this heli but they’re all similar buy the most inexpensive one. You will have a blast after your firstborn hover. Oh yeah Ive dropped it straight down from 6 foot not a scratch.

It’s a finish waste of cash and time!!

My 9 year old son saved up for over two months to buy this helicopter and it broke the very introductory time he ever flew it. He played with it a total of 1 minute before it broke when it landed. It is extreemly hard to control and it only goes one speed, very very fast. So when he tried to land it the original time, it hit the ground hard and broke. It is poorly made and very flimsy. We likewise had to charge the battery for 4 hours before he could even use it. So after waiting excitedly for over four hours, it broke within seconds.
