1Unfit for the Purpose
By Family Man 88
I purchased this product a couple of days ago. This product is so woeful in so galore ways, that I have felt obliged to inform Amazon they will have to not be retail it. Out of the box, the machine would not fly, due to the fact that it rotated at a rapid rate to the left.

The instruction manual, which qualifies as the worst example of Chinglish I have ever seen (and I lived in Hong Kong for 15 years) gave guidance as to how to stop this rotation, by adjusting a potentiometer. It did not tell you, however, where to find the potentiometer. Two hours on the web later I have learned that:

1.This model does not have the potentiometer.
2.Sellers of this model in Malaysia say that ALL S-009′s exhibit this trait after five hours of so of flying.
3.At least a dozen posts say that ALL examples of this model are junk.

I have returned it.

1OH WHAT A RIP-OFF
By Laura
My son expended 2 months saving his cash to buy this. It broke within a week. I wrote the company an email, and they never responded. I couldn’t get a response much less a refund! My son was upset, and I am too! Don’t buy this toy, it doesn’t last as long as the batteries do.

1Piece of junk!
By romans1014
This helicopter is a piece of junk! The description says it is “easy and stable flight.” That just is not true. The helicopter is NOT stable. It spins and spins and spins. Once the trim is adjusted, you get with regards to 10 seconds of stable flight before the helicopter begins to spun in the opposite direction! Initially, I thought this was perchance due to over-correction. After recharging it, I tried again, this time adjusting the trim very tardily – one click at a time. Bad idea! The helicopter started spinning out of control and crashed into the wall at which point one of the main rotors broke. On top of that, the battery does not carry out as stated. A 2 hour charge equals with regards to 5 minutes of flight time. After 5 minutes, the helicopter does not have sufficient power to get off the ground.

I made this buy because a friend got a Helizone Firebird. It has a lightweight metal frame, but everything else is plastic, including the rotors. In a weeks time, we in all probability crashed it close to 200 times – a good deal of were very hard crashes. After all of that, the Firebird had a few minor dings in the rotors and the skids were a little bent, but it still flew exclusively stable. I got the Syma Apache because it looked bad a$$ and thought it would be more lasting being from Syma rather of Helizone. Boy was I faulty and I have since submitted a return request.

Bottom line is, DO NOT BUY THIS HELICOPTER!
