By Midwest Book Review
Lynette Jensen is the author of a great deal of fine quilting and modus vivendi embellishing books and enjoys a solid reputation for her needlecraft accomplishments in quilting communities and organizations around the world. In “Thimbleberries Quilts For My Sister’s House” she brings to bear her a heap of years of experience and expertness to present twenty-two new and stimulating quilting projects for embellishing with flea market finds and collectibles. The projects range from quilts and wall hangings, to pillows and table runners. An enthusiastically commended addition to both professional and community library needlecraft reference collections, “Thimbleberries Quilts For My Sister’s House” is so well organized and ‘user friendly’ that even the most novice beginner may with great success accomplish any and all of these impressive quilting projects.

5great quilting book for all
By S. Schedlbauer
I was very pleased with “Quilts for My Sister’s House”. It has a wide potpourri of projects, both skill-wise and size-wise. I can’t wait to make up some. It was unquestionably a typical “Thimbleberry” publication–and one of their better ones at that.

5A real inspiration of quilting and quilt lovers!
By Carol Baum
Quilts for My Sister’s House is one of my bestloved Thimbleberries books. Lynette Jensen brings about an excitement with color, shape, and simplicity. This book in a literal sense draws the projects in pictures leaving no doubts on assembling the projects. There is a nice potpourri of projects including quilts, tablerunners, pillows, tablecloth, wallhanging, throw, and even a childrens quilt. I’ve been quilting for thirty years and this book even inspires me to undertake a lot of new colors and designs I haven’t seen elsewhere. There are a few challenging projects, but the instructions are clear and easy to understand. I have rather a collection of quilt books. My best description of this book is that the use of color and design are distinguishable and inspire you to develop the quilts or projects. This book likewise includes a very helpful popular instruction page located in the last pages of the book.
