Soothing heart

Just keeping this soft heart, you may feel your own blood pressure drop. The rhythm of the heart makes your breathing slow and steady and everything more calm. Both of my children received a Little Beating Heart a few days ago, and they have been carrying them around ever since. They will sit on the couch, clutching it to their chests, and there are moments of peace and calm in our house. I can’t assert that they will stop fighting or become little angels, but those moments of calm and serenity are unquestionably worth it.

We oftentimes reach for an ice pack and/or bandaid to help soothe owies in our house, I think I will reach for the Little Beating Heart as well to help arid those tears.

The Perfect Holiday Gift

My “Little” Beating Heart is the perfective gift at any time of year. I’m giving one to each person on my Christmas list, young and old. I love giving gifts with meaning and this one says it all. First of all, I have a green one that is a sweet accent to my couch cushions. But more than that, it promotes peace. I exercise yoga 4 times a week, and the goal is to feel calm afterward. This heart pillow accomplishes just that after one minute of hugging it. I also love the symbol of the heart itself. The world would be a better place if we humans could move from residing in our brain space to permanently residing in our heart space. My “Little” Beating Heart may get us there!!!
