Safety Tip
By K D Ford
I made the fault of getting 2 of these magnets. If one has a 146 lb pull then 2 together ought to be in regards to twice the pull, at least they are to try to pull them apart. I’ve been accused of either gluing or soldering them together. Trouble is I can’t get them apart. The primary time they flew together my finger was in the middle. Before I got my finger out it had pinched and pulled with regards to a quarter inch of skin with a little meat off.

Fanstastic power but brittle.
By Kevin T.
This is the basi Neodymium magnet I have ever purchased or seen in person. I had heard with regards to them for a long time so in the end decisive to get some. The power of this exceeded my expectations. they are difficult to believe. In the few weeks since I got this, I have ordered assorted more of dissimilar sizes from here and also other places online. This place has the best prices I have found so far. The one huge drawback is how fragile these things are. All of the ones I ordered from here and the other places, and each size is like that. The edges and corners break off somewhat effortlessly if you let them slam together too hard – which happens all the time because of how powerful they are. My last couple of orders have been plastic-coated ones which I have had to find at other places because they don’t carry those here yet. The major drawback of the plastic-coated ones are that the plastic coating cuts down the power by closely 50%. Plus they cost a bit more. But I think it is still in truth worth it. The plain ones just break too easily. So that is all I have been ordering my last couple of orders. These things are fantastic. I still can’t believe how powerful they are. One last thing. You will pinch your fingers amongst them no matter how careful you are. You will see what I mean if you get a couple!

The most deadly thing you may (currently) buy without a license
By Joseph Dewey
I also purchased a few of these, and likewise lost part of my finger. I bled more than I have since I was with regards to ten and fell off my bicycle, way back then.
That’s not genuinely significant, though. What’s substantial is that I read all of the other horror stories with regards to humans losing little pieces of their fingers to these magnets, before I even ordered mine. So I planned a lot and I genuinely tried to be careful. I wasn’t careful enough, though. I used a great deal of plastic pieces pieces to distinguished my magnets, out of their initial packaging, but I didn’t use long sufficient plastic pieces, and so, snap.
If you have two of these magnets in the same room, you need to handle these magnets with only material that is more outstanding than the significant attraction distance amidst these two magnets, so stuff that’s in regards to 8 inches long. Basically, if you get these magnets within 8 inches of each other, they’re going to powerfully snap together, and unless you’re handling them with stuff that’s longer than 8 inches, your fingers are going to get hurt.
In my opinion, paying an further and added charge for discerned shipping for these magnets is well worth it just so you don’t peril losing a finger. Because, who, really, may stop at just one super dangerous magnet?
You may likewise probably lose percentage of a finger by just snapping these magnets to stuff, like a refrigerator. The box they came in stuck to my front door, and I didn’t even realize my front door had any metal in it.
I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before someone is significantly injured by these, and then you’ll need a license to buy them, so stock up now.
After getting snagged on this magnet, it freaked me out. I purchased a 20-foot Zinc Chain and wrapped the magnets in it. Then I wrapped the chained magnet in a bunch of Bubble Wrap. Then I placed the chained, bubble-wrapped magnet in a Plastic Container, and I’m still frighted that this thing is going to wipe the hard drive on my computer and demagnetize my credit cards, if I get either too close.
I was going to give these magnets to kids for Christmas, but they’re way too dangerous for kids, so they’re just on my shelf now. Instead I got the kids Semiautomatic Nerf Guns since those are way safer.
Pros:
-Very powerful
-150 pounds of pull in 0.0012 cubic feet of material is a lot of pull in a very little space.
Cons:
-Very dangerous
-Extremely dangerous
-Very, excruciatingly dangerous
-Keep away from any individual with metal fillings. It’ll rip your teeth out.
