Lynne Schrum is a professor and coordinator of elementary and secondary education at George Mason University. An author of a lot of articles and five books, including Web 2.0: New Tools, New Schools and Considerations on Technology and Teachers, Schrum is presently the editor of the Journal of Research on Technology in Education (JRTE). 5New to Web 2.0 Teaching

I am a 25 year veteran teacher faced with a 2.0 classroom. I purchased the book hoping to learn more regarding using the new technologies in my science and language arts classrooms. I was NOT disappointed. The author gave clear discriptions of numerous of the most utile technologies available. The author likewise gave examples of ways to utilize Web 2.0 in the classroom, as well as links to respective other magnificent websites . I have commended the book to assorted of my co-workers as the ONE to buy!
