Editorial ReviewAccording to Chinese astrology, each person’s year of birth is represented by one of 12 astrological animals. The rabbit (representing those born in 1903, 1915, 1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, and 1999) is a sweet and delicate creature and is considered the luckiest of all creatures. This 4.5-inch-tall, floppy-eared Beanie rabbit is a plush ball of orange and lime sherbet patches. It has transparent ruby eyes, flimsy thread whiskers, and a fluffy white cottontail. Its ears and appendages are neatly trimmed with metallic pink fabric, and it is flexible Beanie body is poised to pounce. 5Great item to celebrate the Chinese New Year
By Slater Rhea
I purchased this Beanie Baby for my girlfriend as a part of her a good deal of Valentine’s Day surprises. This is particular for us because she is Chinese, and this is the year of the Rabbit (my year).

It is a finelooking little stuffed animal suitable to carry around or let sit on a shelf of other stuffed animals or on the bed with pillows, etc. It is, as with other Beanie Babies, rather soft to the touch and very handsome. The color, as with numerous Beanie Babies is tie-dyed, and so unique, having numerous green and orange, altho for the most part yellow, the best detail being the gold/red metallic fabric on the paws and inside of the ears.

I give this item a five-star rating for instructional value because, as little stuffed animals go, it is informative of something that is too little studied, Chinese culture. The quality of the item seems first-rate, as with most other beanie Babies I’ve encountered, it seems to be very solidly sewn and durable.

Important to realize, but still not at all a deal breaker is that this is sort of an atypical bunny design, and may be kind of awkward to make sit in a natural-looking position. Warning, this is no typical Easter Bunny, mind you, altho for anybody at all mesmerized in Chinese culture or wanting a distinguishable gift with a story, this will more than do the job.

Amazon shipping was fast, item arrived in perfect, basi condition cautiously packed and cushioned.
