Editorial ReviewTuffy thinks he’s one tough puppy, but he’s in truth one big pushover. He was born October 12, 1996. His poem reads:

Taking off with a thunderous blast
Tuffy rides his motorcycle fast
The Beanies roll with laughs and squeals
He never took off his training wheels!

With his curly napped coat in two shades of brown, Tuffy is standing tall. Mostly light brown, he has dark brown on his back, tail, and neck. His inner ears are smooth napped brown. Black button eyes, thread mouth, and realistic button nose make up his expressive face. You’ll find yourself waiting for Tuffy to say “ruff.” Hard to find, this Beanie Baby is a bestloved with girl and boy collectors alike. Surface wash only. –Peggy Etra

Covered in tiny clusters of fur made to look somewhat like curls, Tuffy is cute. Not the cutest Ty dog ever made, but cute, and good for collecters. Tuffy’s ears stick up, but the tips flop over, making for a nice look. Not my favorite, but good. I personally prefer Pugsly, Nanook, and Tiny, my other Beanie pups.
