Ty Beanie Babies Magic the Dragon September 5, 1995 retired

Editorial ReviewMagic was born September 5, 1995. Her poem reads:
Magic the dragon lives in a dream
The most finelooking that you have ever seen
Through magic lands she likes to fly
Look up and watch her, way up high!
The beauty of this Beanie Baby is veritably amazing. Her body is all white, but she has pink, iridescent wings and spines down her back. Her long refined and tasteful neck is counterbalanced by a long curving tail. Her little head has two little ears, black button eyes, and pink thread nostrils. This hard-to-find Beanie is a must-have for any collection. Surface wash only. –Peggy Etra

4Cute, but simple.
By Chris
I purchased this toy because it went for $2.70 (before shipping) when I purchased it. It came stuffed in a ziploc bag which was stuffed in a box. It was kind of bent around when I pulled it out, but comparatively intact. It is for the most part unremarkable, with all white fabric as a base, with the addition of the shiny pinkish wings and frill mane going down the back. I personally wouldn’t pay more than 5 dollars for one of these, but if you or somebody you recognise likes dragons and has subtle tastes, this toy would be an unobtrusive addition to one’s workdesk or sitting on a shelf. I wouldn’t go so far as to consider using it as a child’s plaything, though, due to the white fabric, as it will without apparent effort show dirt and stains.

As for cosmetic concerns, it stands well on it’s four leg nubs and tail. Due to the packing job, the neck may flop a bit where it connects to the body, but fixable with some adjustment or starch. The wings may stand open, though I find it bizarre they are connected to the neck.

Overall, it’s a good product to spend a little cash on. It’s a cute dragon, something you don’t see oftentimes these days, so unquestionably unique.

5Friendly white dragon

Bought this little white dragon to finish our castle set in children’s area of the library. The kids love it. I take pleasure in watching the children use the dragon in originative and dramatic play. This little guy is well loved. He is a very sturdy, somewhat priced addition to our castle family. The children and I find him to be just the right finishing touch.

My daughter has a dragon just like this one. They last eternally and may take a beating with rough play. These dragons hold up 10 times better than Webkinz. I wish that this brand of stuffed toy was the one my daughter is into.
