Ty Beanie Babies – Ants the Anteater

Editorial ReviewThis most strange Beanie Baby is brimming with personality. Ants was born November 7, 1997. His poem reads:
Most anteaters love to eat bugs
But this little fellow gives big hugs
He’d rather dine on apple pie
Than eat an ant or injure a fly!
This long-snouted guy, balancing on his long tail, is just adorable. His head and tail are gray; his middle is three stripes white, black, and white; and he has sweet black button eyes. His tiny gray felt ears actually give this guy galore charm. Surface wash only. –Peggy Etra

Ty Beanie Babies – Ants the Anteater
This is a amusive story. My boy had a little anteater that he loved and took with him everywhere. On the way home one day he asked me to hold “antie”. Since I had assorted things in my hands I in some way dropped it. He was devastated. I told him the persons at his therapist’s office (where I dropped it) were looking for it and would send it to us. Meanwhile I figured it was a goner so I ordered this one thinking I would replace the lost one without his knowing. Well what a surprise when I got it this one is much larger than the one we lost! What was I going to say that it grew up while it was lost???? But to my rescue, the next week when we went to our appointment, the firstborn was returned to us by a miracle. Then I staged the new more spectacular one as an further and added surprise. Now “antie” has a big brother to keep an eye on him. Whew that was a close one.
