My Favorite Webkinz Rooms

My grandkids and I have a lot of fun with their Webkinz stuffed animals as well as their virtual animals in Webkinz World. We’ll often play checkers together using their tournament section, while sitting in the same room at dissimilar computers (we are unquestionably a high-tech family, I admit!). Sometimes, we’ll call each other on the phone to play together “long distance” and that’s fun too.

My personal favored Webkinz World game, though, is Quizzy’s Word Challenge. This is an intriguing little game that is similar to Boggle and reminds me of our favored computer game when our kids were little, Webster’s Revenge.” You’ll see a box with three levels of letters in it. The goal is to make as a heap of words as possible from the letters, as quickly as possible. You earn higher points the deeper inside the box you go. It’s a little dissimilar from other word/square games I’ve played in that you have to work from the outside in. You may make all your words in the outer row, but the further in you go, the more points you earn. And you can’t go back out, once you’ve entered an inner level. It sounds more mixing up than it genuinely is and it’s actually rather fun!

Even better, to my mind, is the way I may use it as “fun with phonics” activenesses for grandparents and grandchildren for my grandkids. We’ll sit there and play for a bit, and I’ll have them sound out the short words they make, or I’ll make a longer word, sound it out and have them look for the letters. It’s nice because your words may be as short as three letters. So for the non-readers, I will say, “Look for ‘cat.’” Then I’ll sound out with them – kkkk aaaaa ttttt. If it’s a longer word like read, I’ll remind them of the rule, “When two vowels go walking, the initial does the talking.” We learned that from the Leapster Frog DVDs – another outstanding phonics and reading resource when you are instructing a child to read.

We have a lot of fun together and they get to earn a lot of Webkinz cash so they are finelooking happy. I get to help them have fun practicing phonics, spelling, and reading, so I’m very happy!

HALF THE PRICE AT FISHERPRICE.COM!!!!!!

I purchased this doll house for my 3 year old daughter. She loves it. But I got the doll house brand new for $33.00 at FisherPrice.com. The further and added peices are amidst $6 and $8.00! AMAZON IS ALWAYS CHARGING TO MUCH!! Check out the fisher price internet site BEFORE you buy. Overall, a good product.

Daughter Loves It

I just purchased the Mom & Dad’s and the Living Room from Fisher Price’s online website. They were both backordered. It is worth the wait. Each item cost $8.00. I was competent to buy both items including shipping cost for $21. I agree with the other review. If you may wait you may get all the pieces you want for merchandising price. My closely 3 year old daughter loves playing with her dollhouse. The rooms do seem kind of crampt with the furniture, but it doesn’t bother my daughter. She was very excessively affected emotionally with furniture arrived in the mail, and she loves playing with the dollhouse.

This toy my daughter loves and it adds onto her play set! It was sad it was cheeper to send the USA and may not be sent to Canada! My little one still plays with it and loves the little dog!
